About Cross-Registration
The ProArts cross-registration week for the Spring 2025 semester will be held from December 2-6, 2024. More information regarding registration dates for the fall semester can be found here. Please note that all cross-registration will now take place via the form on our website.
Students, faculty, and staff of the ProArts Consortium can register for undergraduate classes at any of the affiliated schools. This can be done at no additional tuition cost, and credits earned are transferred to your home institution.
How to Cross-Register
Please READ CAREFULLY AS CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE CROSS-REGISTRATION SYSTEM FOR THE Spring 2025 SEMESTER.
Familiarize yourself with the Cross-Registration and Continuing Education Guidelines at your home school as well as the school you wish to enroll in - located at the bottom of this page.
Cross-registration course offerings will be announced during each school’s add/drop period. Once courses have been announced, identify the course you wish to enroll in, and pick three back-up choices in case your first choice is full.
Complete the online ProArts cross-registration application during the host school’s add/drop period. Note: some schools also require the signature of an advisor – your registrar will be in touch if this is applicable to you.
Students are allowed to submit a maximum of 4 applications per institution per semester, after which point you may no longer be considered as a candidate for cross-registration. You may start out by submitting two applications, and then may submit another two for consideration if both of your preliminary applications are denied.
Students are not to contact faculty in regards to cross-registration unless you hear from the host institution first (or otherwise specified by the host institution).
NOTE: Once registered, please adhere to the registration policies and guidelines of the host institution (this applies if you opt to drop a course once enrolled).
Cross-Registration Guidelines
Each school has different cross-registration policies. Before getting started with your application, make sure to review the rules of your home institution as well as the school you wish to enroll in. Feel free to contact the host institution’s registrars office with any additional questions in regards to course availability.
